Aggie brings extensive knowledge to the firm with a specific focus on business and commercial litigation, and transactional matters. Aggie frequently represents closely-held businesses and shareholders of closely held corporations in litigation and in derivative actions. Aggie regularly advises her clients on corporate governance, fiduciary obligations, internal conflicts and disputes, shareholder rights, and counsels her clients through business divorces.
Aggie has significant experience within the context of employment and labor, where she regularly represents business owners facing various legal and professional issues, and counsels her clients with regards to wage and hour violations and compliance. Aggie is trained to conduct internal investigations, particularly within the context of sexual harassment. Aggie has successfully defended businesses facing wage and hour claims, discrimination claims, and sexual harassment claims. In addition, Aggie has extensive experience in commercial litigation and has effectively handled complex contract disputes. She is also skilled in bankruptcy law, having represented both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy matters.
Aggie has an abundance of experience in commercial real estate, financing, and general transactional law. Her practice experience includes a strong emphasis on commercial real estate transactions and litigation involving commercial real estate loans. She frequently represents lending institutions and parties involved in real estate transactions.
Before joining the firm, Aggie was an associate at a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm, in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring group. She focused her practice on commercial real estate and developed the requisite skill set for handling all matters related to commercial mortgage-backed securities and asset management. Aggie’s expertise has given her a unique perspective and has allowed her to assist clients with all issues related to commercial real estate and commercial loans.
Aggie served as a judicial law clerk to President Judge Vaughn of the Delaware Superior Court, who now serves as a justice on the Delaware Supreme Court. Her experience also includes a clerkship for Judge Robert B. Young and a judicial law clerk externship to Justice Ridgely of the Delaware Supreme Court.
